Originally from Wisconsin, Brody moved to Evergreen Colorado in 1998. After graduating high school Brody attended the University of Northern Colorado. It only took one semester away from the mountains before Brody moved around from Silverthorne, Vail, and Leadville to live out his dream of being a ski bum. Shortly thereafter, he visited Boulder and fell in love with the town and it’s people. Just to make sure he loved Boulder he moved to Hawaii for 3 years to surf and hike before coming back to call Boulder his home.
After graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis on Architecture, Brody landed a job at a sustainable building company in Portland, Or. There, he honed his skills of building and design using sustainably sourced and reclaimed building materials. After two years of living and working in Portland, Brody his wife, three dogs, and two cats moved to rural South Dakota to live on a horse ranch. While on the ranch Brody remodeled two farmhouses, built multiple horse stalls, created miles of running trails and made his own personal yoga retreat just to name a few projects. But Boulder is pretty amazing and no matter how many places you visit it’s hard to beat. Brody moved back in early 2014 and has been a perfect fit on the Adventure Fit team!
When Brody is not busy building something, you can catch him hiking with his dog Elvis almost any day of the week on the trails above Boulder or maybe even on a 14’er. Besides hiking, meditation and yoga keep him sane, not to mention drinking a good craft beer from time to time. And to work off some of the craft beer, he has recently started a cross fit program too.
Brody loves the mental and physical challenge Adventure Fit offers. Being outside in the fresh air and visiting new places is a huge plus as well. He loves using his hands and staying active. He believes building obstacle courses is the perfect outlet for him. Always ready to have fun and work hard Brody brings a smile to everyone that he meets.
